This time of the year apples are still pretty well a staple around our house. So it is pretty easy to grab one to eat or to just whip up a quick dessert with it.  This quick apple dessert is so easy and so delicious! It literally took me less than 10 minutes from start to inside my belly. 🙂 

You can use any fruit you like for this too! Substitute, peaches, raspberries, blueberries, pitted cherries etc and mix it up! You will never feel guilty eating it, yet you will also feel like you enjoyed something special.  Let me know what mixture you use! 

Apple Yogurt Dessert

1/2 medium apple – sliced very thin
2 tsp maple syrup
cinnamon

1/3 cup Plain 0 fat Greek yogurt
1 tsp granola topping – Click to link to my recipe or use your own! 

Mix your apple slices, maple syrup and cinnamon in a bowl. Cook in the microwave for about 2 minutes or over low heat on the stove until the apples are soft. Carefully remove from microwave and pour over your yogurt and mix in well. top with your granola.  Now, grab a spoon, a cup of tea and enjoy!
